Where is the Service?
Counselling and Supervision take place in Brislington or online/by telephone. Please contact me for further details.

What will happen at my first appointment in therapy?
This is an opportunity to explore what brought you to counselling, expectations from counselling and any questions you might have regarding how I work as a counsellor. You are under no obligation to commence counselling with myself if you do not feel this is right for you. If you would like to continue we will explore ways we can work together to assist your needs.
How much will it Cost?
The cost of the initial assessment is £30
Cost of each session is £60 (for 60 minutes).
Concessions rates are offered at £55 an hour but are limited.

What are your counselling and supervision hours?
Monday and Tuesday between 8am - 8pm
Fridays - 8am - 2pm

​Is Counselling confidential?
Counselling sessions are confidential with the exception that if you pose a danger to yourself or others, then the relevant parties will be notified with your consent.

Do you provide online therapy and supervision?
I offer telephone, Video conferencing for the same cost as face-to-face work. I use a secure online website.

Do you have a counselling and supervision contract?
Yes, my counselling and supervision contract explains the following information regarding sessions:- sessions boundaries, notice period, note-taking, cancellation policy including missed appointments, complaints procedure and issues concerning confidentiality.

What is the best way to get in contact with you regarding online therapy?
I require an email address to be able to invite you to the secure online website, so please feel free to email me or contact me via telephone to arrange an initial assessment.
Do you provide couple and /or family counselling?
Currently, I only work with adults and individuals.

What does it mean that you are a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy( BACP) and the Association of Christian Counselling (ACC)?
I am regulated by an outside body which means I agree to a Code of Conduct, have regular supervision, have insurance to cover practice and have regular CPD to ensure my counselling practice is of an excellent standard. In November 2022 my Counselling Practice has been reviewed/audited by ACC and "was completed to an exceptionally high standard".

What if I have a complaint about my therapy?
I take any complaints seriously and in the first instance would encourage anyone to talk with me about any issues they are experiencing. If you are still not satisfied that your complaint has been addressed, then please contact the BACP at www.bacp.co.uk and/or ACC - www. acc-uk.org
